"My personal expression in my style walks hand in hand with my gender fluidity. I dress according to how I feel inside, what music or art is influencing me, and draw inspiration from avant-guard designers (Collina Strada, Charlotte Knowles London, Eckhaus Latta) my environment, and my friends. It is ever-fluctuating, considered, distinctive, androgynous, and playful. Almost all of my clothes are secondhand; I love thrift shopping as it is sustainable, budget friendly, and leaves room for the creativity I desire when choosing an outfit."

"Depending on, say, the weather, you might want to wear closed toe shoes instead of sandals if it’s going to be rainy. Or a coat if it’s cold outside. But as far as I’m concerned, there are no rules that I want to pay attention to that par me to a “presentable” standard. Just as one’s identity should be expressed freely, I think everyone should have the opportunity to live life in clothes that empower, and on their own terms. Fuck the rest."

"If I’m rushing in warmer weather, I’ll go for black clogs, my favorite oversized and customized jeans, a white ribbed tank, then top it off with a silky short sleeved shirt, "unbuttoned. If I’m rushing in cold weather, I’ll wear cowboy boots, military trouser pants, a long sleeved retro polo or turtleneck, my favorite Pearl Sugar hoodie, and a calf/ankle length jacket (denim, trench, plaid). I almost always dress from the shoes up, especially when I’m in a rush, because it grounds and guides the rest of the outfit I’m about to assemble, and has me ready to walk out the door." - Christie ♥
